Ordinary Behavior: Monochromatic Cardboard Electronics & Dioramas by Kevin LCK
Artist and illustrator Kevin LCK’s aesthetic follows a monochromatic or black and white fashion in his sculpture projects. His series Ordinary Behavior features a set of dioramas of everyday electronic necessities, including the computer, camera and iPhone. The artist’s purpose is to demonstrate humanity’s obsessive and unhealthy relationship with technology.
An artificial tool, meant to be used on occasion has become a habitual force. He confesses:
‘Ordinary Behavior’ is a project about the unhealthy relationship between human and technology in an everyday context. […] I sought to detach the audience from the real world temporarily, provide them with a space to rethink and reconsider the way we behave and think about the relationship between ourselves, objects and environment with technology in a more conscious way.
